The Client - Ark Home Healthcare (Ark) is a nationwide home care provider supporting individuals to remain living in their own homes, and cared for in a way that meets individual health needs.
The Challenge - Ark was looking for a more efficient way of distributing payslips and schedules to their employees across the country. Previously this was done manually at head office by printing schedules from their Cold Harbour management system, printing payslips from Sage, combining them and posting them to employees. This process was expensive and time consuming.
The Solution – Appt built an employee app through which all carers can gain access to their payslips and schedules. The app also acts as a communications tool and is used by Ark management to keep all Ark employees up to date with what’s happening within the organisation. Through the app carers can also message one another, comment and respond to posts. In this way the app also helps to create a sense of community across a disparate workforce.
