Client Website: www.bluepandakids.com
The Client: Blue Panda is an online community for families in China raising children with special needs. The organisation was founded by Hannah and Jamie Nofsinger, an American couple from Oklahoma living in China with their three children.
The Challenge: There are more than 80 million families in China raising children with special needs. These families are Chinese as well as foreigners who have settled in China. Blue Panda wanted to create an online community to empower and equip these families with resources, information and stories.
The Solution: Appt helped Blue Panda establish their digital presence in China by building a bilingual website. The website is easy for Blue Panda to update and manage, and has a built-in translation feature.
Appt also assisted with the application for an ICP license, which allows Blue Panda to host their website inside the Great Chinese Firewall. Appt then set up Blue Panda’s public WeChat account and applied for verification, and provided the necessary training, along with digital communication guidelines and strategic recommendations for digital communications across all platforms.
"Establishing a website in China can be a challenge for foreign companies. The good people at Appt China helped us every step of the way. From concept design to ICP license approval to WeChat account setup, they were helpful at every point of the process!”
