Appt worked alongside Hanglung Properties design team, IT Moment to produce two interactive light installations. Our first installation was at Kunming’s Spring 66 shopping centre.
The installation was set up for the opening of the shopping centre. Brand awareness for both Hanglung and the shopping centre was generated on the day through engagements and posts on social media as visitors shared their experiences on WeChat.
The installation required the users to download a WeChat app and follow the shopping centre to access the light installation. Hanglung’s social media following also received a large boost from the installation.

Heartland 66
The Wuhan Hanglung AR mini programme was a great success with more than 70,000 total app downloads. There were 20,000 + downloads recorded on both of the first two days of the installation.
Appt worked alongside IT Moment again for the launch of Hanglung’s Wuhan shopping centre - Heartland 66. We developed an app that used augmented reality to create an immersive experience for visitors, designed to highlight the beauty of Wuhan as a city with its rich culture and diverse environment.
Customers collected tokens in the app as they visited different areas of the shopping centre. As they collected tokens they unlocked discount codes, incentivising in-store spending.
Hanglung Properties’ social media following grew as a result of the app and they saw increased brand awareness as customers shared videos and pictures of their immersive experience across social media.
